Delightfully odd and wonderfully done.
A long time not see painting as a creative, exciting and good quality! Congratulations for your work! Hugs from Brazil!
my god man! you are and will always be amazing!
I'm trying to get sum creative stuff out and less of the "STUDIES"as always thank you!
What color did you use in the fingertips? Could you explain how you got the glowing affect? I'll name my cat after you.....
HEY GABE! well.... I used Vermilion (ran out of cad red medium old Holland) so I used old Holland Vermilion- with sum cad yellow. I used for the lights ultramarine blue with white, the lightest light being straight white of course. Straight vermilion red n sum cad yellow towards the shadows and more white/ultramarine towards the lights. adding just white mutes the color- also painting on A WHITE ground make the world of a difference. Colors will always appear to be more brilliant on a white surface - but dull painted on a darken surface. PS-I love cats. I have 3!
!Grigor! Thanks for the reply! I really appreciate it. Maybe I'll try a small study to match your results. Its a great looking effect! Do you only use Old Holland?
Yeah man! You are AMAZING!
